Your teacher is right about Mars. We have the technology to send a person to Mars now; however, we don't have the political will. The chance that you will go to Mars is rather small but not 0. As for the pet dinosaur, we do not have the technology to bring dinosaurs back now, and are even less likely to develop it than go to Mars. However, I suppose the probability is not 0. Scientists have recently extracted some DNA from a dinosaur bone. Who knows what they will be able to do to 50 years.
This was an interesting thought exercise, however. It is very difficult to think of something that has some chance of happening at some future time, but no chance of happening in your lifetime.

English language, grammar, logic and communication are important.
If you read your question through again dispassionately and logically you will see that your statements are not consistent.
There is a small but non-zero chance that you will go to Mars.
There is effectively zero chance that your classmate will have a pet dinosaur.
I say effectively zero only because science and logic that is inductive reasoning, properly, should not be stated as absolutes.
That there are no more living dinosaurs has been induced by almost everyone because no-one has perceived one. One might play tricks with the definition of dinosaur by saying that birds are dinosaurs but that is usually considered bad form.

The problems about going to Mars at the moment are huge. There are problems about long micro gravity, background radiation which messes the immune system up. Also solar flares. They will overcome these things I'm sure and yes man will go to Mars. However the reintroduction of dinosaurs would be totally unfair to the dinosaur if it were possible as in Jurassic park.

No, she was right. Technically there is a small probability that you could go to Mars, because by coincidences or if we move the entire human race, sometime in the future you might be there.

But dinosaurs are completely extinct, and even if we got new species that resembled dinosaurs, they wouldn't be classified as them. So dinosaurs will never again roam the earth.

Sorry to break it to you, but she was right.

I don't blame you. You can write to NASA and apply for the astronaut program.. They will send you some material which WILL impress your teacher. Best regards.
