i pretty much just eat to live. i used to live to eat but i started feeling like crap because of it. most days i forget about meals and don't remember until i go to bed. eating to live is also a good way to get a handle on your finances. i think a lot of people impulse buy at the grocery store and end up buying more than they intended to and half the stuff is junk that doesn't really make a meal or go with anything. the only stuff i ever have in my house are as follows: fruit and veggies, soy milk, eggs, pasta and sauce, block cheese, loaf of bread and sandwich fixings, yogurt and the occasional ribeye from the meat market. that pretty much covers the food groups. people always ask me how i stay thin and it's because of what i get at the store. i don't go out to eat much at all and always bring my lunch to work. i wish more people consumed less food. it's great having a special meal you can savor, but not every meal has to be like that. besides, i'm too busy for hardcore eating.

I eat to live. For that matter I wish we didn't even have to eat! Now, if my wife started doing the cooking, I might change my mine on that last part.
