I am going to go with Paul as far as being the first teacher of Christianity....however the two Mary's seem to be the first to have witness to Christ's Ascension and could perhaps be considered the first by default.

I would have to say the first person who turned himself or herself to Jesus Christ in total submission.

the first "person" who was a christian, was Adam, because there wasn't sin to corrupt him yet. and he walked with God. he didn't know any differently. I don't know if he called himself a "christian" though.
