My sister in law is pregnant and has been really sick, all day. Everyone says morning sickness is associated with having a girl. Honestly I want her to have a boy.
I have a 2 year old son and it would be fun for him to have a play buddy. That and I would be super jealous. Ha.
Is there still any hope that she is having a boy?

oh believe me when i say that that is a crock of bs! lol. when i was pregnant with my son i did nothing but throw up! all day every day! with my daughter i might have gotten sick like ten times in the entire 9 months! so believe me if that were true my son would be a girl and that is truely not the case! there is still hope for you and your son so relax! and no need to be jealous yet! good luck to you and your sister in law!

No morning sickness is not associated with a girl or a boy, actually I had morning sickness with my two boy's and nothing at all with my little girl so it was the opposite for me.

No.....Every pregnancy is different morning sickness can happen extremely bad for some and not at all for others. There are all sorts of myths out there about trying to determine the sex of a baby but none are proven to be true......she can still have a boy.

I've heard that it's associated with boys. I had virtually no morning sickness, just nauseousness when grocery shopping and around strong foods, and am having a girl. Either way, I hope she has a healthy pregnancy and baby!!

No. That is just a legend that almost no one believes nowadays.
Give it a rest. Don't bug your sister in law. Either choice is good and she has enough grief now just trying to keep her food down. Do not rush over there and tell her you will be disappointed if you don't get a boy for your boy to play with.

No truth to that one!!!!!! I was sick morning noon and night, puking my guts out for the first 7 months....and I had a boy!!! The 2nd time.....it was the same way, but only for 5 months and I had a girl!!!!

No, i'm having a girl and never had morning sickness. My cousin had a boy and had horrible morning sickness. every pregnancy is different. good luck though

There is hope!!! I vomited everyday for 9 months. NO JOKE. I was blessed with a beautiful little boy! Cross your fingers!! And Pray for a boy

I have heard the exact opposite! I posted a question about it a few days ago...I feel sick and people keep telling me it must be a boy! Lol...it's all a load of cobblers!
