I don't particularly like it. The kids just seem to have a lousy attitude toward their parents. Most of the show seems to be about using magic to get around some restrictions they have placed on them or getting something they don't deserve or trying to hide it when they have done something wrong like being lazy and then trying to catch up the wasted time. Yeah, we'd all like to be able to do magic like that, but is anybody going to be able to someday... ? No, so what's the point of wishing? What's the point of dreaming and imagining and pretending that we could? I would rather discipline myself to get my work done, earn what I can, follow my folks instructions and stay out of trouble.

i think most of the cartoons today are pretty stupid, but the fairly oddparents is one of the few that i actually enjoy, mostly because i do think it's funny and because they always throw in little references that would pass over the average 8 year old's head. just for reference, i am 21.
