I was a teen, at home and it was the day before my birthday. I found it hard to believe and felt so sad.
This Thursday I'm going out to celebrate my b'day and as always I'll remember "The King" especially on this day.
edit:
Gary...his fans did and still do support him, fat or not, dead or alive, we do not care! He makes more money since his death than any other artist ever. Many guys make their living impersonating him. His postage stamp was the number one selling stamp of all time. It wasn't just his looks that made him special though. He had presence and amazing talent.

He used to stay on the Hollywood Knickerbocker motel which grew to become into not a procedures from the place I went to extreme college. My girlfriends and that i became pals with the door guy, and he might continuously let us know while Elvis grew to become into on the city. we'd bypass to make sure him. issues have been especially harmless in those days!

I was a little kid. My Dad told me Elvis was dead and said that the song on the radio at that time was one of Elvis' and that he was the king of rock n' roll. Funny how I remember that. I never thought about it until now.

Elvis is my parents age well he would be and he was an icon
He had many issues concerning his spirtual path and was on his way to discovering his path when he was over come by his physical needs and tragically passed
He needs to be remebered for all the songs and his incredible voice and the way he moved all that he met, his love and loyalty for family and his desire to do and be better

To commemorate EP it should be arranged and organised by the big rock concerts. Remember John Lennon. The management of the rock bands should encourage as many fans as possible. I liked the king of rock.

He could sing a good song, but how many of the 'fans' supported him during his latter wilderness years? If he got as much adoration when he was alive but superfat he may have been alive now.
