I had the same problem. It made me crazy. I found weed killer gel. its a green gel that you spray on. I can't think of the name but its the only green weed killer gel. Worked fabulous. The weeds turned brown within a few hours and then eventually shrivelled to nothing within the next few days!

What kind of weeds? If they are broadleaf weeds, zap them with Round-Up on a sunny day & they should be dead within 24 hours.

fill up your teakettle, get the water boiling, then carry it out and pour the boiling water onto the weeds... quick, safe and nearly permanent!!... and no nasty poisonous chemicals in your yard!!!....

or.... get one of the small propane tank/torch combos... fire that up and fry the weeds.. that's another way to do it without poisons.....
