Please examine your marriage before fully blaming him. Men are assumed the blame for ALL infidelity in a marriage. Sure, it's wrong and no man should stray from his marriage, but too often women conclude that he's just a plain dog; that it's his uncontrollable sex drive and that men just have an innate inability to be faithful. But in many situations, he is not getting satisfying sex at home. Often he isn't getting any! He is torn. He still loves his wife but finds himself yielding to those urges. Is he wrong to do so? Yes. Is he the only one to blame? I think in many instances, yes. But in many more instances, no. I hope you and your husband can have a serious and heart-felt conversation about the reasons for his unfaithfulness. And I hope the result of that conversation will be a deeper, more meaningful and loving relationship for the two of you to share for the next 35 years.

Divorce, the trust is broken. You have been totally disrespected. You have to accept that he is not the man you thought he was. Don't let him blame it on you either. Cause he may try to do that.
Your whole world has changed and you are still reeling from the shock of it no doubt. Go to the doctor and get tested for diseases, cause there are deadly diseases out there now you know.
You will want to take him back, hoping for a return to the way it was before, but it will never be the same again. It is your choice though, if you want to forgive him and he is willing to behave, maybe it can work. Seek counseling.

forgive and forget ya are more like brother and sister so just put it behind you and remember 2 wrongs dont make a right, so why divorce after so long together 1 of you is about to kick the bucket soon anyway so just enjoy whatever time ya have left together specially if you confronted him and he sincerely apologized. just think about this if he did play you and he came back to you that means the other person had nothing to offer him and he values you more so wouldnt it had been worst if he decided never to come back from his lil trip which i can see he didnt so just let it go men are men and will always fall into temptations path for thats is why ya women are smarter than us.......
