call the local college level self-improvement schools and ask if they offer any classes that might help you --- the other thing is to go the ''marine dealer and repair stores''' and work as like an apprentice and gain the knowledge to become an all-round boat and engine techno/mechanic ----- like earn and learn ... if you walk in the door of a prospective company ( to employ YOU ) and have a positive attitude and look ( dressed to work in that environ) right and want to be a part of that team then you will be doing the right stuff to be on the road to learn and succeed ... and if the 1st co. says no then realize that you are just one no closer to a yes .... you must get up early and show the new boss that you are not a noon riser and that you are SERIOUS about this new line of work for you ....
