For the doubters who have posted, kudos to you for seeing equality in treatment everywhere, but you should know that a growing number of physicians are refusing treatments they deem "morally wrong", such as prescribing birth control for women. I suspect these same doctors wouldn't hesitate to refuse treatment to someone based on sexual orientation, and it seems reasonable to me that someone who has likely experienced rejection by some in our society would want to make sure the path was clear before being turned away at the door.

I in no way knew there have been anti-lesbian medical doctors in Memphis. is that reported on their certification or telephone itemizing? possibly you will detect a itemizing of gay and lesbian scientific caregivers in case you're biased against hetero medical doctors.

How would you know if an OB-GYN was not lesbian friendly? It's not a topic that should come up. And you don't go to a doctor to "get off."

I've never heard of such a thing. Unless you walk into your GYN with a t-shirt on that says LESBIAN, how will they even know?
