I know, the Pantera attacks were so much better. But Anthrax had already past it's peak by the time Bush took office so there wasn't very much to stop by that point.

The same reason Clinton didn't prevent the terrorist attacks on his watch ... the US President generally is not a cc: on the terrorists emails, and I doubt the terrorists informed him that they intended on sending Anthrax Virus through the mail to US Senators. I sincerely hope that you don't really believe that the terrorists really give a hoot what political party the President or Congressional Majority are. We are all capitalist infidels and they will attack us until we all bow to the east and praise Allah. They could care less about our politics, just our resolve in opposing radical Islamic and terrorist organizations and the governments providing them safe haven, comfort or support. Oh, I guess you're right, the terrorists are Democrats.

I don't recall President William Jefferson Clinton and the Democrat Congress doing so well in preventing the first attack on the World Trade Center in February of 1993.

The anthrax attacks were all on left-leaning politicians. It was an obvious case of home-grown right-wing terrorism.
The GOP actually SUPPORTS that kind of terrorism.

First of all, I'm no fan of Bush, but I don't know how he could of stopped the attacks very quickly. It would be hard to find the source of letters with anthrax in them very quickly.

a better question is, why haven't they caught and prosecuted anyone?
desertviking_00, you also don't see the perps of the feburary 1993 World Trade Center bombing doing anything but time, without any chance of parole.

Because they didn't know who was doing it and had no foreknowledge of it, but clearly measures were taken to stop it, which succeeded.
