I want to become an undead mage. Can I still have a fllying mount and a sword and armour?

Everyone can get a flying mount if you have the Burning Crusades expansion pack and are high enough level.
Also everyone wears armor is well. A mage is confined to cloth armor though, and can't wear anything heavier (though the bonuses in cloth armor are better than those in other armor.)
Mages can learn the 1-handed sword skill. You can get in it Silvermoon or Orgemier from a weapon trainer. Swords might NOT be the best choice though, since you can't use shields, the only benfit would be an off-hand item. Staffs might be better for the bonuses to mages some of them carry.

All classes can use flying mounts at level 70. Mages although having arguably the highest DPS in the game unfortunately can only wear cloth armor but yes they can learn to use single handed swords. IMO undead priest would be more powerful though...

Mages are only ever allowed cloth armor, and yes, they can train in one-handed sword skill. I believe it is either the Orgrimmar or Undercity weapon trainer.
All characters can obtain a flying mount at 70. The basic (+60% speed) flying mount costs 900g to train the skill and 100g for the mount. Epic flying mount skill costs 5000g to train. You an buy an epic flyer for 200g or grind faction with the Netherwing to earn a Netherdrake mount or the Sha'tari Skyguard for a Nether Ray mount

Mages can wear cloth armor and everyone can buy a flying mount at lvl 70, as everyone else has said.
I wouldn't bother with a sword, though. You should try to do all of your fighting at range. Instead, look for staves with good stats, like intellect and spirit. Also look for a wand. They're great for when you run out of mana, which will happen alot.

Yes, all classes wear armor, it is just different depending on your class. Mages can only wear light armor. All classes and races can have a flying mount once they reach 70 and buy it. I am pretty sure mages can learn to use swords, although I am not 100% positive.

all players can have there flying and epic flying mount at level 70, mages can only where cloth armor :( but they do have the best dps in the game. they can use a swords but i would not recomend it.

u can have a mount though i think u get a staff and only cloth armor not mail chain or leather hope this is useful for you = )
