It's true man. His only real competition will be Troy Smith (22% liklihood) and Rohan Davey (48%). You heard it here first.

Oh yeah, and to prove I'm not biased, my favorite team is the Toronto Argonauts....

For starters, I'm a Colts fan from Indiana, and not even close to being a Cowboys fan.
I don't believe Tony Romo has much of a shot at being the MVP. I think he will have a breakout year, and will establish himself as the Cowboys QB for a long time to come.
MVP? I just can't see that with, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Marc Bulger, Carson Palmer, Tom Brady... I'm no Las Vegas odds maker but I'm willing to bet that one of those 5 guys beats Romo for the MVP award. That was only one position, so I didn't even mention LaDainian Tomlinson, who is probably the favorite to win the MVP award anyways.

Even looking at just the Cowboys, I think Terrell Owens has a better shot at MVP than Romo, but ONLY IF he ever realizes that there are 10 other guys on the field with him at the same time, which may never happen.

I remember that question. Romo has maybe a 1% chance of MVP this season, but then again so does everyone else.

I think the only person that maybe has closest chance of MVP is LT. I know a lot of people are saying that he will get less touches this year because of Turner, but I personally think that since the Chargers have a much tougher schedule this year that LT will be forced to have more play time against these tougher teams. Even with LT I doubt he has a 30% chance of winning the MVP. He just happens to have a 2% chance versus just about everyone else's 1%. :p

Favorite team...Cowboys. I would love it if Tony Romo was the MVP, he certainly has the offensive weapons to get there, the question is will he maintain his game mentally and just not mess it up. Rex Grossman got to the super bowl playing horrible football, and I think we can all agree that Romo is better than him. If Tony Romo plays at 75% of the way he played last year during his hot streak he will run away with the MVP. The only competition will come from LT who is a much better player than Romo, and maybe Vince Young.

Oh man! That is too funny! I shouldn't be laughing like this at work! I think a 1% chance is being extremely generous, he's going to have to get a lot better to say 30%. And probably 10 other teams will have to fall off the face of the earth.

Optimism sure is boundless...

wow, i was gunna say, Tony Homo 30%? wow lol it almost made me laugh. The MVP is going to once again be Tom Brady, and i know i sound like just another New England Cliche fan, but seriously, if he puts up the yards this season and leads The Pats To a super bowl final he is defenently a huge candidate.
