How to get off my pants and shoes?

So I just started a new job working with food, especially this flour mixture, when it gets wet though it clumps up and makes this paste, and it gets all over my pants and shoes, and I'm finding it really hard to get off, anyone have any suggestions? At the moment I'm washing my pants 3 times before work to get it out, and I try scrubing the shoes off with a sponge, and then banging them outside but it only gets some of it off

Water and flour = library paste, like that white Borden's glue...it's edible but kind of bland (smiles). But seriously, try soaking your clothes in warm water, then scrape off (gently) any remaining goo and then washing them using the warm/warm water setting on the 'heavy duty/rugged' cycle and use the 'extra rinse' function, if your washing machine has one, with DOUBLE the amount of fabric softener that's usually recommended...fabric softener reduces the absorptivity of cloth (that's why you shouldn't use it at all when washing towels!)...the apron and shoe covers is a great idea, too. You might also look for a laundry soap that says that it contains 'Enzymes' (they digest food) and/or go to a health food store and get some 'Papain' powder, that's the digestive enzyme that's in pineapples, and mix some papain in with the warm soak-water.

For the shoes, if they are leather,spray wd40 on them before going to work. Then they should wipe off when you get home.

Wear an apron and shoe covers next time.

Wear crappier clothes and don't worry about it. Nature of the job until you get a cleaner job.
