Theres a lot of talk this way and that way about failure and success, but I just cant see how anyone can think this insane war in Iraq wasnt a giant mistake. This isnt like spending an extra million here and there to give your supporters some business, we invaded a country and put our own soldiers at risk. Many have died as a result of Bush's poor decisions.
The lesson to be learned is, do your homework on the candidates and get involved and vocal early. We now stand upon the precipace of electing someone even MORE divisive and polarizing in the White House and people are just jumping happily on the bandwagon to usher her in. America has been getting what it deserves, the worst choices made by ignorant voters. Any single one of the "losers", Bush Sr., Dole,Gore, Kerry, Dean, McCain would have been a far far better President than what we've had to suffer through for the last 16 years.
Its not a left/right thing any more - its "same old-same-old" Too many people concerned with their Legacy to do anything that will effect positive change.
Well, that rant should just about assure me of getting thumbed down by just about everyone. Yes, I dislike Clintons as much as I dislike Bush.

i do no longer probably purchase into the conspiracy implied in this question. There could have been lots of extra secure places for the president to be. i'm uncertain how regularly President Bush examine to little ones yet whilst he in no way did returned it may desire to be with the aid of fact he thought it grow to be undesirable success, or in basic terms assumed no longer something coud ever precise The puppy Goat. Al-qaeda did 9/11. Bush had no expertise it grow to be going to happen. whilst Andrew Card walked as much as him and whispered "united statesa. is below attack," you will see that that Bush legitimately iced up up and had no thought what to do. He wasn't appearing

That a President with a rubber stamp congress that doesn't face debate or oversight will overstep the constitution.
That a President with a rubber stamp congress that alters intelligence will lead the nation in the wrong direction.
That a President with a rubber stamp congress will create the illusion of a good economy by giving their friends preferential treatment while creating the largest deficit of all time. My grandchildren will have to pay for his arrogance and bad policies.
That a President with a rubber stamp congress can somehow authorize the torture of innocents.

Speaking for myself, which is all I can do, I've learned that the Constitution is still a wonderful document that is vital to the health of our democratic republic. I only wish that every American citizen could memorize it word for word and fiercely defend it and the principles it contains.

You make the assumption, based on your need to dance for the left, that it is a failed presidency. Don't know that and we will not for years to come. Reagan faced the same thing, the heaping of the slogans, smears, etc on this administration but history has treated him pretty well. We stand a good chance of having a Dem President if we can get past Obama and Hillary to get to the actual electable candidates, like Edwards and Richardson. Probably won't though, they are too well qualified and to close the middle to satisfy the current Dem national Party. Not possible, no matter how clever you think it makes you sound, to say Bush has a had a failed Presidency. What if? What if we elect a Dem who has to accept the idea that we are bad and Arabs are really very nice folk and then we have a huge terror strike on US soil that kills 50,000 people? Bush's Presidency will be the high water mark of efficiency and you will have to then ask the failed question of th Dem President. You are just ranting, I know but its not an intelligent question. Its just political baloney and we are all fed up with baloney.

Things can go wrong when the President is a drunk-driving, coke-snorting, draft-dodging, military-post-deserting, insider-trading, election-stealing, lie-based-war-launching, disaster-relief-bungling idiot who cannot form a coherent sentence without a speechwriter.
Things can go VERY wrong.

Never try to compromise with Congress by meeting them halfway. Because half-way isn't good enough and the result is they turn on you and stab you in the back.
Seriously folks. Congress is made up mostly of attorneys and everyone knows how we can't trust attorneys.
