EVERYTHING Isaac Asimov ever wrote was good ... but I think I liked his 'Guide to the Bible' best of all ... even though I read all of his SF first. I belonged to the same Mensa group as he did (also Ayn Rand, and Raquel Welch), and he was a really 'normal' sort of a guy, considering Mensa is supposed to be for 'the highest IQ people' only ...

The short story "How To Serve Man." (Fiction) If you haven't read it, try to find it. I read it so long ago, and I don't have a copy of it, but I'll never forget the story. I think it's in one of his anthologies. By the way, my family moved when I was 9 years old. The first book I found in the new library was by Azimov. I never did get out of the sci-fi stack, and have been reading Sci-Fi and fantasy ever since, which was long before sci-fi came to be considered a legitimate genre. I think I read every book in that stack. There weren't a whole heck of a lot of sci-fi books then, and after I went through the stack I had to hunt them down in resale shops. It wasn't until Star Trek that sci-fi became popular.

Fiction, he created some ground breaking fictional stories, and I feel his Foundation original series was his best. His non-fiction was very good, but not as legendary as the fictional work.

I liked his science column in F&SF.
I thought his "Foundation Trilogy" sucked and didn't make much sense. Sorry.
