i would like to convet my 99 honda civia from a fuel runing car to vegetable oil....is this even possible to do with this make? If so what steps can i take to do this? If not what are some different types can i convert my baby too??

If it is a diesel, then yes. Otherwise, no. If it is already a diesel engine, you do not need to do anything at all. You just need to be able to access used vegetable oil (fresh won't work), and then you need to filter it really good. A diesel engine should run on that fine with no alterations whatsoever. Otherwise you'd have to completely change the engine, which would likely not be cost-efficient enough to bother.

If you can't do this, then I just recommend driving carefully and slowly, and you'll save gas. Don't accelerate too much. Don't drive recklessly or over the speed limit. Walk or take the bus when possible, too. Good luck!

No, you can only use diesel engine with vegi oil. You just take the diesel engine and convert all the hoses to the ones that are oil friendly.

it is NOT what you think. You still need to process the vegi oil to mix right amount of chemicals so you cannot just dump the oil straight. That means finding the fuel can be difficult unless you know someone who is already running and have good supply of the fuel.
