Is it an underwire? It might help to change to a soft-cup bra. I personally cannot STAND underwires...I wear 100% cotton bras and take it off as soon as I get home!

When I first started wearing a bra, I was concious of it all the time and it didn't exactly feel comfortable. However it sounds like your bra may be uncomfortable because it doesn't fit right. It shouldn't feel as though it's chained to you. I'd get a bra fitting. Most big department stores do them for free.

I feel ya, I didn't wear bras at all until my late 30s, and it wasn't easy to get used to! But your bra is probably the wrong size for you... I recently read that up to 75% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. A properly fitting bra should not bother you any more than your other clothing (although they can get irksome at the end of a long day, especially the underwire type!). My advice is to go to a store that offers bra fittings by a trained person. They are free and you don't HAVE to buy anything! Victoria's Secret offers this service; you can also call around to lingerie stores or department stores with a lingerie section in your area. If you have very large breasts (i.e. DD or over) you may need to go to a specialty store or at least a plus size store like Lane Bryant to get a bra that really fits well.

I think it is normal not liking to wear a bra. I am 33 and have worn a bra for quite some time now, and I hate it! Once I get home, that is the first thing to come off! If it is really uncomfortable, you could always get fitted for one to make sure that you are wearing the correct size. As you are getting fitted, you could also ask what the recommend to be the most comfortable.

That is absolutely normal. I buy the underwire bras and then make a small slit at one corner and pull out the wire. Its more comfortable but the same fit. I also discovered sports bras when my daughter started playing in high school. I love them...even at work...no one knows the difference.

Go shopping to a good shop and try on several styles and sizes, either side of you measurements. You can then find something that fits you comfortably and meets your bra needs. The website has everything you should ever expect from your bra.

You have the wrong sized bra. There are claims that up to 85% of women are wearing the wrong size. Who cares what it says on the lable. Go to the store, try as many as it takes untill you find one that's comfortable. Good luck.

It sounds like your bra might be too tight. Why don't you try on some in the next size up and see if they are more comfortable?

Make sure that you get one that fits very well, and perhaps consider a sports bra.
