Alright, so I am probably totally weird for not knowing this, but I only heard about BB from VH1's reality tv moments thing. And I know it's super popular, and I'm not dissing it, I just have no idea what it's about. So could anyone tell me the whole background story about the show??? Like what it's about and stuff? Thanks!!!!

Its really good...it starts out with say 14 people living in a house together..sometimes the show plans that certain people already know each other and suprise each other by being on the same show...
each week they have competitions for food and to be the head of the household or HOH. The HOH gets to nominate two people to be evicted from the house. each week someone has to go home.. There is also a power of veto (POV) ceremony each week where the people who are nominated to be voted out get to win the POV to take themselve "off the block" and the HOH has to put a new person up...every week everyone in the house except the HOH and the people up for eviction get to vote someone out the house.. so each week someone leaves.

They also have food competitions where they split up in teams and fight to win food..if you loseyou have to eat "slop" for the week which is really gross oatmeal lookoing stuff..

the people in the house do not always get along and there is usually alot of drama and fighting going on.. people team up in alliances and try to get others out of the house..

at the end of the show the last person that doesnt get kicked out wins $500,000

its good try to watch it..you can see I watch it often since it came out

Big Brother is a show where like 16 people are stuck in a huge house together and have no connection with the outside world. It is on three times a week and each day they have a different competition. On Sundays they have food competitions and they divide up into two teams the winning team gets to eat really good food while the losing team has to eat slop which is a very gross mixture. On thursdays the head of household competition takes place and whoever wins gets their own room and the power to choose who will get nominated to be evicted from the big brother house. On Thursdays the Power of Vetoe competition takes place wherre the house guests compete for a medal that will allow them to save one of the nominated people from being evicted or they can keep the nominations the same. Then all of the house guests vote and at the end whoever has the least amount of votes to stay has to go home. So the goal is to stay in the house until the very end so that you can win 1 million dollars. There are also twists every year, for example this year there is a guy in the house named Eric who is "America's Player" Which means that America gets to tell him what to do but the other house guests don not know this. I hope my explanation helped you out!!!!

Big Brother is the most awesome show ever!
It's about 14 people from different places that have no idea who each other are until they are put in the Big Brother house..this season there were 3 pairs of people that had an enemy in the house, which were: Dick and Daniele: father/daughter that haven't talked in years..Carol and Jessica: rivals from middle school, and Joe and Dustin: Gay guys that broke up and are now enemies..They have to eat Big Brother slop, which looks like oat-meal and it's terrible tasting, unless they win the food competition, which is divided into 2 teams so half the house gets to eat good food, the other half has to eat crap..they have Head of Household competitions, which one person is the head of the house, gets their own room with pictures of their family and everything, the HOH (head of household) then nominates 2 other house-guests up for eviction, then there's the Power of Veto competition where the 2 nominees, the HOH, and 3 other house-guests chosen from a bag of balls gets to participate in, then whoever wins can veto one of the nominations off the block, then the HOH has to put another houseguest up for eviction..then at the end of the week the houseguests all vote for whoever they want to be evicted from the big brother house, except for the 2 nominations and the HOH..Also there's lot of drama in the house and it's just an incredible show! -Must watch!!

Big Brother was probably the most interesting and fantastic TV show on the air waves in the year 2000. It was a fascinating array of 10 personal characters living and evolving in an almost military like style, kindergarten type house (less the toys of course) where the house guests did exactly what was told of them at any given time. Could you have personally withstood the discipline, intense pressure and scrutiny that the "no privacy" cameras revealed? For a half million bucks as the payoff, I suppose anyone could. The cameras (28 of them ) took a very close look at everything they did, feel, think, or decide to comment on in life. Voyuerism at its finest and the ultimate best unveiling of people's personalities wrapped up in a neat little television show that was on every night except Sunday and will go down in history. Is the experience of being under micro scrutiny like this really worth the trade-off of possible fame and fortune for these poor souls trying to scratch for a possible oportunity in life? An estimated eleven million viewers had tuned in every night to see for themselves.

Strangers, or not, live in a house together cut off from everything, get filmed 24/7. One person is Head of Household after a competition and puts two people up for nomination to get evicted. Then they can fight for a Power of Veto to stay in the house and then once a week someone gets kicked out of the house. At the end there will be only one left.
