My opinion is : yes... at least at the cellular level.... Disease originates.. with something being out of harmony.. within the body.... For instance : inflammation, the greatest culprit in disease, is related to oxidative stress in the body... which is a form of chemical imbalance....

"A disease is an abnormal condition of an organism that impairs bodily functions. In human beings, "disease" is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes discomfort, dysfunction, distress, social problems, and/or death to the person afflicted, or similar problems for those in contact with the person. In this broader sense, it sometimes includes injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections, isolated symptoms, deviant behaviors, and atypical variations of structure and function, while in other contexts and for other purposes these may be considered distinguishable categories" is Wikepedia's explanation. So in a nutshell, you are right: dis -ease - the "dis" meaning "non-functioning/unable/uncomfortable", etc. And most diseases are caused not so much by medical DISorders, but by DISenchantment with life (in other words things in life that makes your mind, and thus your body, react negatively).

It can, & often does, but not always. I just had a session this morning with a woman who is concerned about herself, & her mother. In the case of her mother--it's primarily attitude. Very negative--angry, critical, & sees herself as a victim of everything in her environment. It's a "nothing is going to be alright" image in her mind. She uncosciously sets herself up for adversities & accidents. These confirm, & compound her attitude. In the other case, it's stress, which most of us know can break down one's immune system & "cause" all sorts of things including high blood pressure, plus higher levels of cholesterol that lead to more serious health problems. Her stress level can be decreased by the discipline to not "worry" at things over which she has no control & various other ways. I've not seen any credible proof that dis-ease can cause such things as cancer, etc. But even a physiological disease or chronic illness can seem, or actually become worse if one has a negative attitude. With the mother, the older woman, it's unlikely her nature can be changed, (not that she'd believe it needed changing). Yes, dis-ease can cause disease.

Nope, Its just the genetics you have. Depends on what runs through, like if you have low pressure or anything that will or can cause a disease. YOu can say some are born with it because some don't know how to take care of their body.

Wow very interesting question. Well I have a disease which is incurable and painful but is non life-threatening (Thank God) it's Endometriosis. I don't think it came for any "dis-ease" in my life but I do notice when I do have some "dis-ease" in my life it does make my symptoms worse such as the pain and the tiredness. I think "dis-ease" can complicate any disease and make matters worse. I think any negativity you have in your life can affect you and your heath or other situations. I think it is best to try and always think positive in every situation to keep the negative energy away. :)

Disease is a biological matter. Uneasiness is a psychological matter. While biology and psychology intertwine, and no doubt have some effect on the other, heart problems are not necessarily the result of psychological trauma or intracranial disrupture.
The question we must ask, in each case, is whether the mind is causing the body pain, or whether the body is causing the mind pain.

The" Dis-ease " I think causes a lot of things that could happen to us ;what I mean is we cause a lot of unnecessary diseases and yes we can bring them on ourselves to a certain degree .
Good Q.

in therapy land we call this 'somatising' - when your issues, whatever they may be, make themselves known in your body. in my experience you can tell a huge amount about what goes on in the inside by what is happening on the outside and there are different theorise as to why that might be - the power of the unconscious if you are a freudian/jungian....or the voice of the higher self making itself known if you are a humanist....
hope that gives you a new slant

in accordance to 3 widespread ideals those days, that does no longer be too a procedures-fetched... ("the secret") yet... as this is in basic terms stupid - i might say no. :) regardless of the undeniable fact that, rigidity could reason wellness issues - uncertain in the event that they could bring about illness, however.
