Some fairly good questions, however a complete answer to all of them would require substantial writing.

Translation is a difficult but doable process, not only for the bible but for other ancient documents. While some words have no direct translation, the meaning or concept can be translated. There are several (many) different translations of the bible and if one is a christian, they should understand exactly the strengths and weakness of each one.

There are probably many scrolls that didn't survive with the rest of the dead sea scrolls and many of those that did are very damaged and are still being pieced together.

There are many different view on god, because there are many different people.

The church and religion have in general formed some very strange ideas about what god or gods want us to do i.e. covering every part of the body, avoiding certain foods, fasting, hair length etc. This is because religion is a human invention and it not actually created by any god.

Basically, most religions have some worthwhile moral principles and ways to get along with others, however the is no real god or gods.

Mormon, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, etc.. are all Christian religions but they practice it different &/or have different views & interpretations of the bible on some matters.

As for the rest (you, indeed, do ask way too many questions), it's all mainly to do with what you believe.

1. The Bible was translated as best it could be in all languages. Of course some languages have certain expressions that are hard to translate perfectly but there are other words you can use to describe as clearly as possible in another language.
2. I honestly don't know what's so different about the King James version & other versions of the Bible.
3. Since we're talking about the Christian religion there IS ONLY ONE GOD, but it's because the different sects of the religion each interpret the bible differently that they have different views.
4. I don't know much about the Dead Sea Scrolls, sorry..
5. Umm, according to the Bible, there is no mention of any other "human-like" creatures if you're referring to aliens..
6. Strict Catholics don't believe in self-pleasure (because to them it's a sin), but of course not all Catholics adhere to this. But as far as I know, none of the other sects have rules against masturbation. It's not meant to take away anything, but it's simply what they believe upon their interpretation of the bible.
7. You can't generalize everyone that is a part of the church. Probably where you live there are plenty of people who may preach one thing but their actions are completely the opposite because it's not like this everywhere. As for Jesus being perfect, he was merely human. Some people may say he was completely perfect, while others will say he still had his flaws.

i've got asked this 5 cases right this moment, 4 of that have been pronounced and deleted. i assume I made an enemy, a cowardly, Phelps-wannabe enemy. Fundamentalist Christians will nevertheless say in basic terms for the reason which you have the urge does not make it top, then attempt to charm to parallels between homosexuality and murderers or some thing that doesn't stick to. the point of hatred from a number of those solutions is frightening. the place's the affection?

1) Your question (difference between religions) does not fit your description (reliability of English Bibles)

2) Your question is too broad--it would take writing a book to answer.

3) The Bible was written by flawed, superstitious old men thousands of years ago. Look for answers somewhere else.

Religion is man's version of God that becomes tradition and doctrinal. Usually it started with a germ of Truth about WHO God is but with time and rituals becomes less Godly (thus we get all the hellish behavior from "religious people"). Yet the True God is well able to reveal Himself to you or anyone if they will seek Him. Will you? It's like any relationship, it will deliver what YOU put in. So sincerely seek Him and He Himself will tell and show you who He is and which "religion" is truest.

Religion is man trying to gain God's acceptance plain and simple ( Can't be done ).
True Christianity is a person trusting Jesus Christ and the finished work he did Plain and simple. He expects us to change and do better with our lives after conversion ( do good works and such ) But none of this will can earn our salvation.

One question at a time please....you have asked at least seven.

All religions are man-made, and hence are as varied as people are. There is no external revealed truth, though this is what all religions claim.
