My sister went out with this guy, let's say his name is "GREG". She was really serious with Greg and her best friend knew it too. Life happened, my sister and Greg broke up but were still strong in feelings with each other. Well, her best friend married a guy for 2 years in AZ. Once she came back to visit, we all hung out in a group together, including Greg and all. Well, my sister caught her best friend kissing Greg and stormed out of the house and left. When I walked in, they were just acting like nothing happened. Her friend was married and kissed this guy! Anyway, after that incident, she left back to AZ and decided to divorce her husband. I asked her why and she said cause she doesn't love him anymore. Not so long afterwards, she hooked up with Greg(the guy she cheated on her husband with). My sister is still pretty pissed about this, but her friend is saying not to be. Is she worth being friends with or should she be considered the other B word?

If this "best friend" (we'll just call her Venus) cheated on her husband with Greg and then divorced him, I really don't know what kind of friend she is--probably not a good one. I would forget her.

Tell you sister to move on. Tell her to ignore "Venus and Greg" and find new friends. Stand by her and her decisions, respect them and help her as best you can. It sounds like she is hurt and angry, and she has a right to be. If these people carry bad memories, then they're not right as friends.

Good luck!

Love is a tricky subject. the friend is not likly in love with greg and she was not likly still in love with her husband either. she just used one to get rid of the other.

She may have not done this with a consciene mind to do so. she had small feelings for greg and not so for her hubby, and so one led to the other

as for your sister and greg this may sound harsh but she is not dating him and has not been for some time. so the friend should be ok to hook up if she and he want to.

It's like this: every girl worth the title of "best friend" knows that Rule #1 is to observe the Friend Code- NEVER go after a guy that your best friend has ever dated, or even someone they have mentioned they are interested in. Once a girl calls dibs on a guy, he is off-limits to her best friend. Even if they haven't dated in years, that guy is still forbidden territory for the best friend. I thought every woman was just born knowing this!! If I were your sister, I wouldn't speak to this woman anymore, but that's just me.
