Relax all the muscles down there. if you tense up your muscles, It will hug the tampon and make it painful to pull out. pull the string a little in front of you, not strait down. Don't worry. You'll be fine.

P.S. it's easiest to pull out a tampon that's fully saturated with blood.

If it is fully soaked it should not be uncomfortable to remove. You do need to leave it in place until it's fully saturated because removing dry tampons puts you at higher risk for toxic shock syndrome. Just stay as relaxed as possible... a good way to relax your muscles is to "tense up" your whole body, then relax. Of course you have read the directions on the package so you know what position is recommended you be in and so forth! Don't be afraid, just keep telling yourself that millions of women use tampons every day with no problems!

If you really have trouble there should be a toll free help line on the package. They are there to help you and have probably heard it all so there is no cause to be embarassed.

First of all, is it time to take it out? You need to wait a few hours after putting it in for it to absorb blood. If you take it out right away, it might hurt a little.

But there really isn't anything to worry about. Stand over the toilet if you'd like, grab the string and pull. It's just that easy. It might help if you take a deep breath, let it out and relax. Don't be scared! It won't hurt! :)

This has happened to all of us, so don't be scared. The more relaxed you are, the easier it will be. Make sure that your fingernail is not too sharp and gently search for the string and slowly pull it out. You can lie down on your bed with a towel under you or in the tub in some warm water - whatever works for you - you'll get the hang of it in your own way.

Usually, if a tampon hurts when you take it out, it isn't fully saturated. Next time either leave it in longer (no more than eight hours) or use a smaller one. Oh, and pull down and to the front. And even though they say that they are flushable, plumbers say you shouldn't. They will clog your drains, I've had this happen, it sucks (and is expensive), you will then need to call a plumber to unclog your drains. Wrap it it tp and toss it in the trash.

If you're flowing, just pull on the string and it should slide right out. When you get near the end of your period, it's not as wet, so you can either switch to the smallest tampons or minipads (or pantyliners.) Don't be scared to take it out~!! It won't hurt (I promise!) and it could be very dangerous to keep it in for over 10 hours.

please take it out. you can get T.T.S.(ToxicShockSyndrome) that can kill you. just pull the string at the bottom.

When you remove the tampon, gently pull on the removal cord at the same angle you used when you inserted it. Try relaxing your muscles before pulling on the cord. Using a tampon which is too absorbent for your flow or changing tampons too frequently may make removal difficult. If you find the tampon is mostly white when you remove it, try using a lower absorbency.

There is only one way to put it in.
And there is only one way to take it out.
Pull on the string.
Because the tampon is now moist,
it should slide without pain

if you leave it in for the 3 or 4 hours that it tells you to then it wont hurt. how ever if it does her then you should go with a smaller tanpon than the one that your using. Because your flow isnt that much.
