Yes, it will end, at least for the time being.

And the sun-earth will run about 4.5 to 5 billion more years, not "a couple of billion."

It will, eventually. No one has proven anything other than the fact that the universe is accelerating much quicker than anyone thought. Every thing any scientists say or "proven" is nothing but a theory. Many scientists think that the universe will continue to expand space without limits. Others have their own theories such as the Big Rip (think of a balloon) or the Big Crunch (reversed Big Bang). The Earth itself will either be swallowed by the red giant Sun or fried to a cinder crisp. Again, no one can tell. It's all theories.

Everything has it's time. The universe it like a person we grow until we can't grow no more, then we stay like that for a while, then we decay and die.

Earth won't last that long anyway our Sun will expand engulfing Mercury, Venus, Earth, and about half of Mars. But that about what? 6 billion years away. We'll be long gone be then. humans would have spread across the universe. Or be killed by a stray asteroid. Like I said everything has it's time and we have to accept that fact.

If by the world, you mean Earth, then yes, eventually it'll retire into nothingness, but when that is to happen is not certain. The Sun's red giant form is the most I can think of, but that's off a couple of billion years, when by then we'll probably have stooped to some disaster, or have wiped out our race.

If you already know the answer, why did you ask? According to currently known science, the universe will eventually wither away. That's a long time from now. I'd like to think, by then we'll have figured out a loophole, like maybe go through a wormhole to a newer universe.

Looking at the upside, you got roughly 2 and a half billion till the sun goes nova, but somehow, i dont think mankind will make it quite that long, provided we actually open our minds more and focus a bit more as a species on whats important long term as opposed to the greed and glutny of the immidiate!

Yes the world will end, but i do not know where u got ur facts it has been proven that the universe is getting bigger and will callapse into a massive black hole. Other therios are it will keep expanding until time ends but the Earth will be destroyed when the sun engulfs it when it becomes a red giant.

Of course. This is part of the universal law. You know, what goes up must come down, there is no in without an out, there is no up without down. All things come to an end or at least change their chemical composition.

Don't worry, the sun will expand and burn the earth to a crisp way before the universe dies.

Eventually, yes....and not the because of the universe, but because of us..all the pollution, that we humans create it's killing it little a little..
