Hi kamram
Seems like a nice and convenient way to take a knock at the USA.
However, this thing happens all over the world in every country, this girl, when 14 years old, should have had a good hidding from her father for posting such photographs of herself on an open web page.
The company using the photo should rightly be sue for million, if only to stop them making any more x flicks.
As for the USA, I am sorry if that nation offends you for some reason (im english) but please dont try to classify every american by the actions of one company.
If the yanks are in some way offending you or your religion or your people or family, then that is the cause you should use to highlight the shortcomings of the Americans, not because an american company stole a photo.
cheers mate

Oh I heard about this a few months ago. The DVD makers stole her picture from the net, removed her copywrite markings and put it on the front of some porno.
She's been getting the runaround from them for ages. The thing is, apart from the copywrite legalities, she was only 14 when she took the picture, so they've really messed up.
I hope she wins, but I doubt it, these sort of companies can fold one day and come back under a new name the next. (sort of like YA actually).
I don't see that you can blame this on all Americans though. Thats just stupid.
Susannah, if you look here:

You will see that the original photo is not shallow or porn like at all. Its simply a (slightly gothy) self-portrait. I fail to see what's so offensive about it.
Tracy: Nice to see that being self-righteous didn't stop you from actually LOOKING at the picture in question. Naked? I think not.

The company was wrong to use her picture but that girl has got to be pretty stupid to get so het up about it when she has plastered herself all over the internet at 14. I suspect her outrage is more to do with the fact that if the company had gone about it the right way she would have made a packet of cash out of it and she hasn't so she kicking off!
What made me laugh was the reponse at the bottom of the report blaming her picture for poor DVD sales. Lol!

not all americans are shallow and disgusting, people from your country go through the same things as americans do. There are many shallow americans i admit but most of them are not. Any other country has its amount of shallow people, americans just have a reputation and stereotype for it. Im from ireland and and some of the nicest people ive met are from the US.

funny way to put the question if you are not anti american!!!! why was she putting naked photos of herself on the net? her parents should have been aware from the start.
Right you are. You can hardly tell she is 14 from the pic though!! she could have been any age... you cant see her face or anything. just shows.... be very careful what you do on the net....... so many are watching.....

From the Americans that I have met I have always found them to be polite and friendly and not at all as you describe. This persons privacy has been invaded and she rightly feels aggrieved. The circumstances are hers alone. Not all Americans are disgusting or shallow and should not be described as so.

Why target the Americans? Too many of them are on this site posting shameful questions on the Mc Canns.

You're just jealous, baby. I don't see Americans still bowing their head to some antiquated out of control, ugly, murdering monarchy and bunch of stuffed shirt parliamentarians. England's over--beaten down by George Soros (why didn't you see that coming)--get over yourself. Remember Americans rescued your @$$ twice and American blood was spilled doing what you couldn't. You've been a millstone to America--how 'bout a thank you--and get out of our way.

Just one stupid person making a nation look bad.
If she didn't want the attention, why would she post it on a website for millions to look at. This girl is shallow, yes!
