since i have kind of small eyes (i'm chinese), i'm thinking of trying mascara to make them seem a bit bigger. am i too young to start using it? what's your opinion?

Nope youre not too young,13 is a good age to start wearing mascara & makeup.But if youre going to wear mascara dont wear too much of it because it will look bad if you do,And make sure you wash it off before going in the water because if you dont it will run down your face and you will have black streaks down your face.See im 11 and i wear mascara but not a whole lot and i only wear it 4 special occasions.But on the other hand my Bff is 12 and she wears gobbs of black mascara and Dark brown eye shadow with Red blush,and Shiny ,juicy lipgloss.....But the key to wearing makeup is to make it look like your not wearing any : ).So i Hoped i helped by!

Go ahead if your parents are ok with it, just don't use it too much or your eyes will develop a rash around them, i'm 14 and use it occasionally or when i go out. I started wearing eye makeup when I was 11-12.
Here's a tip: use a good mascara that doesn't burn( body shop,cover girl)
and apply eyeliner before you curl your lashes and then apply mascara

Well, personally I think that 13 or 14 is an alright age to use mascara, but I'd only use it for special occasions. Wearing too much makeup can make guys get the wrong impression about you. You don't want to get the wrong kind of attention.

No, you are the perfect age! First thing to do, is to buy an eyelash curler, not a heated one. These usually cost anywhere from $1 to $20. I bought mine from CVS for $2.
Then, buy some black mascara. I suggest Maybelline's Great Lash. It is $3- $6 and is one of the best mascara's in the country!

You are not too young for makeup at all! This is the age where you can start experimenting with color. I think you should get some mascara, an eyeshadow palette, and some lip balm/gloss. But, don't let me push you into buying all that. If all you want it mascara, that is great. If you want more, that's good too. Good luck!

Of course you're not too young, it's the perfect age. I started using it at the age of 13.
Start with transparent mascara,so you can easily put it on without fearing it might come off.
And I think that mascara and lip gloss are perfect for your age.

That is a great idea. As long as your parents approve of it, you'll look great. Here are a few tips about mascara for you:
Apply ONLY to the top lashes
I suggest Maybelline, it's the best there is out there
Don't put it on every day, because if you forget to put it on one day or something like that, people will wonder what you did to your face.

No Ive Wore It Since 11 Half Im 13 Some People May Be Like Are You Wearing Make?????!!!!!
But I Mean It Totally Normal I Think It Makes Some peoples eyes look very pretty.
