Are you being serous? That is the stupidest thing I have heard. Your lawyer is lying to you. That's a good thing you're seeing a neurologist since you can't write over ten worlds without destroying the grammar. Good luck!

Why did the lawyer not give you the confirmation number? This would have solved everything. Many hotels do not accept cash. I think this is just a simple mix up. I lived in Dallas for too many years and this story does not right true.

Let your lawyer handle it. The quickest and easiest solution would be a personal apology from the hotel manager, with a written copy of the statement on hotel letter head, censure of the offending employee, and a free weekend stay in the hotel at any time in the next year, complete with meals, parking, etc. If the manager has any brains, he'd jump at the option, rather than go through the court system and risk the bad publicity.

First of all, how did your lawyer come to the "decision" it was racial discrimination? Did someone from the hotel say something in particular to you? Did you have a print-out confirming your reservation?
Your question is not detailed enough to answer it intelligibly.

The lawyer DID NOT call the hotel and made NO reservation. You have a dishonest lawyer.

It's best if you speak to your lawyer and he'll tell you the best thing to do. and ive been through it before as well. I went to a restaurant one time in Virginia. a fancy little place right on the side of the mountain, a bunch of old retired rich guys. well right when we walked in we got funny looks. we told the man we had a reservation and he just sized us from head to toe leaned in close and said "we dont serve your kind" MY KIND?!! man how i wanted to pop him right in the mouth!!!! but my grandfather (celebrating his retirement) just handed the man 100 bucks and told him to seat us. reluctantly the man obliged. Once seated we were stared at the whole time!! Well they had a wine cart going around and my grandfather ordered Cabernet Sauvignon $482.00!!! I guess that bought some respect because once he did no one continued to stare or rather glare at us. I hope you resolve this soon

Yup.. Let the lawyer makes that call. I don't think it got anything to do with race. might be a simple misconception.

I don't believe a word of your post. If it were true you wouldn't be here asking for a stranger's opinion and your attorney would be busy writting a nasty letter.

Since you already have an attorney, I would speak to him/her and if you want to pursue it, file a lawsuit against the hotel.
