I'll give you an example which I'll prob. get some slack about.

My husband spanks me and I like it and want it that way. So for us that is "normal" for us.

One persons abnormal is another persons "normal" , so how can that word be defined at all?

Curious to what you think. Thanks!

'Normal' is a pretty meaningless term, especially when it comes to sexuality. Everybody's a bit kinky in some way, and the people who scream loudest about 'sick' and 'weird' are probably suppressing some fairly kinky urges themselves. Enjoy the spankings, Tami!

Normal has no set definition. I'd say my life is pretty normal, but the fact that I've lived in 25 states, and gone to 6 different high schools would make it abnormal to other people. You just can't define what's normal for everybody.

"Normality" is a fiction, if a person was 100% normal or average they would be weird. In many ways "normal" is what an individual is used to and in a group, what is normal changes dramatiacally as new individuals are added.

The point is if you and your spouse enjoy something (that doesn't harm others or your children), feel free and don't worry about what others think.

what you do in your bedroom is your business. If he spanks you in public, it's the public's business. You have to understand the difference between the individual and the social and where those lines converge.
