no body is gonna pick him. if he thinks he is gonna be able to enter the 2008 draft and sign with some other team.
i know bo jackson did the same thing. but that was because he perfered playing baseball, he didnt have issues with the contract, he didnt even discuss his contract. but russell, if thats wat he is trying to do, he will probably not even get drafted, and he can just go and live with his mom. and be a worthless peice of ****.

Crabtree would be an fool for sitting out, he will lose alot extra funds, and theres no assure that he gets drafted in the 1st around back, EX- look on the profession of Mike Williams out of USC.

Russell thinks he is worth a lot more..he needs to prove his worth..Raiders dont plan to use him until 2008, so it does not make a big diff to the raiders..also russell is supposed to play like Daunte, who is now a raiders..so Raiders are the choosers here..!!

He can't sign with another team...The Raiders hold the rights to him...So, unless they trade him, he's a Raider whether he likes it or not...

If he sits out then he is dumb. He is already costing himself time to learn the system. He is delaying his assimilation into the pro game.
I hate that rookies get so much money and hold out if they don't. They haven't done anything in the pros.
