I was wondering how often everyone washes their bath towel? I know it sounds like a crazy question but im having a disagreement with my friend, i wash mine 2 or 3 times a week but she said nearly everyone only wash theirs once a week.

I wash mine about 3 times a week Holly, i would do them everyday if i could. I basically use mine for 2 days then its in the washing machine!

I will only use a towel once and then I wash them on a number 4 on a 40 degree C wash.
I will wait until I have enough towels to wash as a full load.
OMG it sounds like I have got an OCD!

I wash ours after 1 use, they dont feel or smell the same if you dry them after using them, theres nothing like a clean fresh towel after a bath or shower, towels are not meant to last forever, but regular washing does not harm them, when their past their best I use them for dusters or cloths, I also keep an old one in the car, you just never know when you might need it

I use the same bath towel 2-3 days in a row. I also drop in a quarter cup of bleach in the rise water to sanitize and give towels and washcloths a clean smell (ever taken a clean towel out, and after you use it and it is damp, you get the odd smell that tells you it was not completely dry when stored?)
NOW my son in law uses a clean towel every day, and rags on my daughter if there are no clean towels. . . .

I use about 5 towels a week and wash them altogether once a week

My wife does ours about 2 times a week. Lately it's been more since the humidity has been so bad.
Daily is a lot and probably wears out the towels!

Prob 2-3 times a week like you. I know folk that wash them everyday but that's a bit extreme I think.

haha..I know some people who use a clean towel every time they shower..I personally use mine for a week then change them..They are clean to begin with, so I don't see the point in using it once and then saying it's dirty..I think that's just more work in the long run with all those ""Clean"" dirty towels to wash.

I am with you 2-3 times a week, once a week is not enough for me.
