YOu guys don't understand. If yo lost a relative or dear frind in tis war you would be so hurt. YOu think it is all fun ad games and go Bush go.

It's not! it's terrible and losing someone you love is the worst thing ever. Please save your loved ones before they are gone. Save the troops and keep them alive.

If you do not know someone in the military then it is so easy for you to say you support the troops. When you lose someone you love it will change your mind about this horrible war.

Please a least show concern for those that do have family members. They wish the best and are optimistic. But after tradegy hits they will regret it forever. It is easy to support the troops until they die.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so sad that we have so many people in this country that will blindly follow a "Leader" or a person who is in the position that they have the power to be a leader. The great majority of these people do not have the capacity to think for themselves. Instead they take the talking heads, talking points and hate mongering. They do not take the time to do any research as to what they believe. They just blindly follow it.

As to the people that are supporting our soldiers, that would be the ones who fought and continue to fight to bring them home. It is an honor to give ones life for their country however there is no reason for them to do so needlessly. The ones who have spoke out against this administration and their policies and lies are the ones who have supported our soldiers the most. We did so at a personal cost of personally being attacked as "Un-American, Traitors, and various other attacks. We have been put on watch lists in retribution for speaking out against Bush and his war for oil and money.

It is a citizens duty to speak out against our government if it is not acting in accordance with our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Bush and his administration have destroyed every aspect of our Constitution and every right granted to our citizens. It is our duty to speak up and stop Bush. He has sent our soldiers to fight a war against a country that did not attack us.

We have man and women dying every day because they are in the middle of a civil war in Iraq. Meanwhile Bush is buddies with the Prince of Saudi Arabia and socializes with him and attempts to give our Government contracts to the Saudis just like he did to all his buddies that were granted no-bid contracts to fight a war that we had no business fighting.

His motive seemed to be to revenge his Daddy, Get Oil, and grant no-bid contracts to his buddies that do not have to be carried out. In the process they have attacked anyone (That means EVERYONE) who speaks out against him as is our duty to do so under the Constitution.

Our soldiers are dying daily only to see all the rights and the very Constitution that they swear to protect be systematically destroyed. The very rights that thousands of our soldiers gave their lives to protect. Meanwhile the person who "actually" attacked us on 9/11 is not deemed important enough to capture.

These soldiers, IF they return to the States shall return to a to a Country that:

Where the government does not give them the health care they need for the injuries received while fighting in the middle of "Bush's Civil War".

Has "Secret Courts" where the rights granted every citizen under our Constitution no longer exist.

The Government has ignored every right given the citizen's under our Constitution. They listen in on any person's Phone calls, E-Mail,Internet Use, Library Use or any other thing they want. They do not need any permission or warrant which the Constitution requires. Even when we tried to fix the Bush Dynasty problem by electing a Democratic Congress, they just rolled over and were afraid to take on the Rove attack machine.

Our soldiers are dying daily for no other reason then to line Republican's pockets. They should be ashamed that they steal the lives of our soldiers who are willing to fight for the freedoms that they are destroying in the name of massive profits.

To all the Parents, Spouses, Siblings, Relatives and friends of our men and women that have paid the ultimate price for Bush to pay back his supporters, please know that the people who support the Constitution and have always supported the Constitution, we Thank You. We are sorry for your loss and will always love and respect the men and women who gave their lives for us. We know that they fought with the belief that they were protecting us and the Constitution. We will never blame them for Bush's actions.

The soldier's from this war will not be treated as the Vietnam soldiers were treated. The masses have learned it is Bush's lies and his actions. The soldiers do their duty.

It is time to impeach Bush and Cheney for their actions and in actions to carry out their duties and protect the Constitution.

Then it is time for us to restore the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Again I am sorry for your loss.

Dear friend,
I am deeply sorry that you lost your brother,
Hearing about the death of American soldiers and Iraqis civilians really hurts me in a profound way,
I’m a student far away from home and family and I know that one’s family is really unique,
I'm sure your brother was unique and special to you and I can almost feel how you miss because no one can ever replace him for you,
About the war: it’s a shame,
Bush is a liar a typical politician, who is deeply in denial,
There is a no military solution to Iraq and he should bring back your troops ASAP,
Lets hope for peace on earth!

I am so sorry for your loss my friend.

I did not vote for Bush and I believe still that the overwhelming majority did not vote fore Bush, either time, I believe the election was rigged but that is beside the point, I believe this to be Bush's own private war. I believe Bush knew in advance of the 9-11 attacks and did nothing to stop them so he would have a excuse, the problem is he had a excuse for Afghanistan but has none for Iraq, he claimed WMD's but found none (Bush still has the receipts you know) he is responsible for many deaths and is a evil, evil man.

Nothing can change what he has done, nothing. We the People need to put a stop to what he is still doing and we need to do it now.

I will keep you in my prayers.
Peace and Love

Hi my friend !
I'm an Iranian boy & so sorry for you and every people who lose & lost their loves in the wars. Perhaps western people think we are happy because of American victims in Iraq & Afghanistan, but we are sad about killing HUMANS all over of world. Maybe every minutes some people (in Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, …) are killed in the wars by some others! For what reason ???
Just because of a small group of guys who don't accept their rights & want to have (Oil, Power, Colony, Money, etc) more & more.
They only attack to other countries & watch the results from a far place. These days are near the first anniversary of Lebanon & Israel war. Near 5000 humans were killed (most of them were child & woman) at that time by Israeli soldiers & pilots while they didn't have any defenses. For what ???
You should be careful about future. All of American guys have to support themselves against G.Bush for stopping the war (in Iraq & Afghanistan).
Iranian people wish a world full of peace & freedom for everyone (except that group).
" GOD gives to us life & kindness. So behave kindly please. "

I'm sorry about your brother. I have a very close cousin in Iraq too and since I have no siblings I treat all my cousins like my brothers and sisters. It is a shame we were all lied into war and we are still being lied to.

Now that you see there is no point to this war, maybe you can start to research why we were lied into war in the first place. Start with 9/11 if you think you can stomach what you will find.

If you want to see care to see more on how we are still being lied to and why it works so well see my question I made last night on Pentagon lies and propaganda.

I do not support this war and I pray that no more troops or Iraqi's continue to die over corporate lies.

I wanted to email you, but you don't accept. I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I too have experienced a tremendous loss and hoped to share it with you and try to comfort you. I am actually crying as I think about your brother, about you, your family, and how this tears us all apart. I know how I have changed in the past year and a half, and I understand your change completely. I have views that differ from yours, but that doesn't matter to me. I know your pain and that of your parents. My loss was not a result of this war. I can't say that I lost my daughter because she was serving her country, was answering a calling, was brave... I can only say she's gone. The thing is, those of who lose loved ones are in a very, very small minority. Our hurt is enormous, but no one sees it. People don't get it. They won't. They can't.
I will pray for you, as I pray for all of those who have lost, especially soldiers. I pray that you find solace, comfort, peace. I pray for that for all of us.
God bless....

I am a Veteran of that ‘this-is-not-a-war, son; it’s-a-police-action’ Vietnam thingy so I speak with some experience.

“They are also well aware of what they are getting themselves into when they sign the bottom of that paper”
Bzzzzt.
War is for young men looking for adventure and ALL young men know they’re immortal (as young men, none of us was real smart. :) ).
No man knows war till he’s there; then it’s far too late; then he knows TheFear but if his mind has been properly trained and manipulated he’ll last the distance without falling apart BUT fall apart he will – maybe not today or tomorrow or this year or next year or even ten years or twenty years BUT after 30 years when TheFear has had time to fester and he’s done nothing about it cos ‘he’s tough’ he’ll fall in a heap and wonder why and THEN my friends, the ‘Health System’ will make him jump impossibly high bars before even considering giving him the help he deserves.

“He died supporting his country and honestly, for a soldier, there is no prouder way to go.”
Bzzzzt.
ChickenHawks’ and Survivors’ drivel in the case of Vietnam and Iraq.
He didn’t support his country – he was conned by Bu$hit’s ChickenHawk cowardly propaganda of lies. The CowardBu$hit and 90% of his administration ran in terror at the thought of ‘going to Vietnam’ – they had the money and means to get out of going by hook or by crook BUT usually the line was blurred. It was left to the people (aka CannonFodder or Suckers) with no political leverage or clout to fight the ‘war’, just like here and now.

“those radical Iraqis will follow us to our shores”
Bzzzzt.
P-U-lease. Iraqis had nothing to do with 9/11 … contrary to Bu$hit bare-faced lies BUT you’re right; no matter WHAT happens you’ve ENSURED that some pissedoff Iraqis seeking revenge for the needless death of their women or children may find their way of getting even – what a great GOP plan – ensuring a never-ending circle of violence.

“The soldier's from this war will not be treated as the Vietnam soldiers were treated.”
Bzzzzt.
They already are – health benefits are hard to get AND, like with the Vietnam ‘this-is-not-a-war, son – it’s-a-police-action’, they haven’t and won’t come back as winners and heroes – they’ll come back as losers and no one celebrates the actions of losers.

“This war has absolutely NOTHING to do with bringing freedom, democracy and liberty to Iraq and is simply what the US (and others) are ALL about in the Middle East and that is OIL OIL OIL OIL OIL !!!!!!”
HOORAY!
Someone got the right answer - MoneyForBu$hit and his friends.

Please listen to "Chickenhawk" by Roy Zimmerman on the link below. It's good satire. The sound of good satire in the morning is nearly as good as the smell of good napalm.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you know that even though some of us object to the war, we're still so proud of our men and women in uniform.

All we want is for them to come home safe and for our world to be safe again.

I never supported the war, never thought it was a good idea. But I do support our troops and I know your brother was/is a hero.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Unfortunately the only people paying any price for this war are people like you and your family. The rest of us go on as though Iraq doesn't exist. I think what we need to do is concentrate on the service people that are left and give them what ever support they need now and in the future.

I am so sorry to hear that, I am new to YA and didn't know that. My son was a marine and part of the invading force, those were very scary days for me. My son came back safe but he lost some very dear friends over there and he is forever changed by the experience.

My son also supported bush jr before the invasion, I had to constantly listen to the "you don't understand" from him. I opposed an invasion, because we are the defenders of the weak. We, as Americans, do not attack the weak.

Again, I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences on the loss of your brother. Funny how this "war on terror" only works when the President sends other people's loved ones away to die. There's a video on YouTube where someone goes to a college campus to interview all the rich, yuppie, Republican kids and asks them why, if they support the war, they aren't actually fighting in it. It's amazing how many of them have asthma, bad backs, poor eyesight, and other "ailments" that make them unfit for war! How easy it is to support the troops if you're not the one getting shot at or having your limbs blown off.
