I remember the first time I heard it. I was in the 4th grade, on a school bus. I was looking out the window crying, with the innocence only a child can hold. A husband and 2 kids later, I really understand what he is singing about.

OMG....by the end of the song I want him to take the girl and get it over with! It goes on forever.....
I love Tim McGraw, but it would not hurt my feelings if I never heard this song again.

My husband bought that CD when it first came out. He told me about it and I said "can I hear it?" He responded "not now" as we were waiting in line to get food at a drive thru. By the time we got up to the window, he was sobbing and squeezing my hand. True, romantic, eh???
