Assume question should be written as:-
(x + 5) / 3 = 10 / (x + 4)
(x + 5)(x + 4) = 30
x² + 9x + 20 = 30
x² + 9x - 10 = 0
(x + 10) (x - 1) = 0
x = - 10 , x = 1

cross multiply.
(x+5)(x+4)=3*10
x^2 + 9x + 20 = 30
x^2 + 9x -10 = 0
(x-1)(x+10) = 0
x = 1, -10

you need to specify order of operations.
i'll assume you meant:
(x+5)/3=10/(x+4)
which is X= 1 or -10
if you meant
x+(5/3)=(10/x)+4
then the answer is ~-2.2 or ~4.5

x-10/x=3-5/3
(x^2-10)/x=(9-5)/3
3x^2-30=4x
3x^2-4x-10=0
x={4+sqrt(136)}/6 or x={4-sqrt(136)}/6
