I dont know its strange. Think its weird how some do it too their cars too like putting cushions and soft toys in the back/

You have a problem with other peoples freedom, because they don't share your values.
If people learn to appreciate things when they are young, why should they abandon them just because they grow older?
Because you, and people like you want them to?
Ask yourself 'What harm does it do?'
I know a 72 year old lady who likes Teddy bears, she has
them because she likes them.
Children have them initially because people buy them for them.
There are more soft toys around than all the children in UK or USA could have use for. And many people are employed making them, distributing them, and selling them.
Edit, I almost forgot, a pink horse sits on the bottom end of my bed all day, and all night.

I am a grown woman and I don't have any soft toys on my bed.

well most women get given a lot of soft toys over the years. you don't want to hurt peoples feelings,and they have to go somewhere!

They cant accept the fact that we have to grow up.And as you get older you get cuddled less so you cuddle a soft toy to make up for this. but i dont cause im a REAL man.lol! Oh! This damned psychology degree!

Ugh, I don't know- if I was a guy and I went back to some woman's place and saw a teddy bear or something on her bed, that would freak me out!! The only soft, squishy thing on my bed is my bulldog. And he's real.

Women usually receive teddy bears as gifts from husbands/boyfriends/ and/or lovers. They put them on the bed to display them, so as to not hurt a loved ones feelings.

Before i had the children i used to have 1 or 2 which my hubby had bought me as gifts but they are resigned to the loft now...
