If your gauge is accurate, it looks like the valves on the compressor are leaking refrigerant, and you are not getting a good differential. You will need to hire an HVAC tech to have the head(s) pulled and the valves replaced.

Is the cooler maintaining temp?

What is the temperature of the evaporator line 12 inches from the compressor?

What refrigerant does this system use?

Check your coils and make sure they are clean as well as your fan blades on the condensor and evap. coils.
If these are all good start checking for leaks in the freon system.
