i seen on tv, people bought countertops with concrete or cement and it had broken pieces of glass in it. I thought i could make that, but of course the girlfriend says i can't. Somewhat have ideas. thanks

do you have a background in concrete? if not, you're probably going to have to try a few times. but the basics would be to build a frame on top of your cabinets to the height you want of concrete countertop, mix the concrete, pour and level the concrete, then after it slacks a bit you can add your bits of broken glass and whatnots. i would definately talk to a professional before you start though

Start with something small and figure on redoing it a few times while you learn. Don't give up, any skill can be learned. Are you sure that you want concrete as opposed to silica filled epoxy?

can you tumble the glass so there are NO sharp points or edges on EVERY little piece?.... if not, no, you can't do it....

the manufacturer of that countertop has what's needed to produce it... I'm afraid we DIY'ers just don't...........

the one with the mother of pearl is just the BOMB, ain't it?...
