They allowed this to continue solely because the torturers were Black, and perhaps it was part of their "Culture" to torture little girls>
NOW these same Social Workers have allowed a 17 month old little boy to be tortured to death solely because the torturers were from "a large family of "Travellers".
TRAVELLERS: The latest in a long line of Minorities who can do whatever they want.
Have no fear!

Hi therevolution,
Get it straight :Gyppos are Romanies.
Irish Travellers are not from the UK
If Irish are applying for a job they are classed as a separate Ethnic group.
As for blacks :
A young black girl had parts of her genitals gouged out. But No-one bothered because they thought it might be some part of "BLACK CULTURE"
and didn't want anyone "tutt-tutting" them for "Racism"

Hi revolution,
Irish Gyppos are from Eire( not part of the UK) Are YOU soft in the head?
I said as for BLACKS!
NOT as for the Climbie case!
BTW What's this pseudo-scientific claptrap about a "linear argument"?
Is this some F**ing SS mumbo-jumbo to baffle the peasants?
BTW (again) female circumcision is carried out in the UK.

This was a truly harrowing case. You always see her smiling face in the picture that is always shown of her, and then you have to contrast that image in your mind with the torture she had to endure. It was a miracle that she was able to smile at all, and apparently, she was reported by the hospital who treated her on occasions as always having a smile for the staff who treated her. God bless her.
Yes, the old refrain, "lessons must be learned". They never say what lessons, or who has to learn them. Just an over used pacifying cliche.

I hadn't read the case purely because I couldn't face reading about another child condemned to a short and horrible life. It would appear in this case that the police did try on two occasions to bring charges against the family but this was blocked by lawyers at the CPS, no reason for this has been given. There you have it "lawyers" - their philosophy - never mind if a child dies in agony we must up hold the parent's Human Rights! As for Social Services it would appear that they were monitoring because it must have been them who referred the matter to the police for action. So why didn't they take the child away and argue about it later! Incompetence aggravated by Political correctness. They have a Safeguarding Children Board which costs tax payers a vast amount of money and is obviously useless - they will now cost us even more money by holding another enquiry. What for? Harringay has a corrupt and useless council and enquiries after enquiries are not going to achieve anything!

Slowly but surely the country is wising up to the race card being flashed when it suits the purpose.Whatever nationality you are, cruelty and abuse should never be condoned or excused. The law needs to toughen up on these sadists as there is absolutely no deterrent at the moment.Even in prison they have access to the Internet, television, phone and three square meals a day. They don't have to worry about work, rent or mortgage and they'll even get all the help and a place to stay when they are freed. So this mindless abuse and cruelty will carry on until the government fit the punishment to suit the crime.

Your actual, even though it rather is regularly going to be too little too previous due, I recommend, how do you compensate the fact that an harmless toddler died on the arms of a few very evil human beings? No apology is ever going to make it actual, or justifiable, yet i think of it became an prolonged string of errors that led to this happening, and we gained't in basic terms pin the blame on anybody guy or woman... As for the self sustaining assessment, I reckon, probable like dissimilar human beings, that plenty of their data want reviewing, and doing so would shop lives. a minimum of consistent with risk then, 'toddler P's' dying should not be in vein.

i don't live in Haringey - but this is a disgrace- what are the ratepayers paying these idiots for - find out who your local mps are and bombard them with emails and letters etc - when there's a local election - give these mp's a hard time - - go to the no 10 website and write to the pm and/or start a petition about the policies that allow this kind of cr*p to happen - it's not just Haringey - it's everywhere.
we do have a voice - we shouldn't just be voting at the ballot box - make these mp's earn their damn money.

Victoria Climbie died as a result of severe incompetence and negligence on Haringeys part and a series of gross errors. She did NOT die because Haringey thought black people should be allowed to do what they like (you Numpty).
Stop trying to twist these issues to fit your self-obsessed little agenda.
By the way, racially speaking most travellers/gypsies are from the UK originally (being of Irish origin), so they are not racially different from yourself.
Edited to add:
1) You seem unable to construct a simple linear argument. In your added details you have made reference to the act of female circumcision. While this deplorable act IS performed on girls in relatively few parts of Africa (not all), this was NOT the case in the Victoria Climbie case, the case to which you are referring in your question. SO where you have said that Haringey were afraid to take action against the abusers for fear of being accused of racism , that is quite simply a fabrication on your part (made up in that confused little head of yours). The Climbie case had nothing to do with female circumcision.
2) OF course Irish travellers are Irish (and therefore from the UK) - are you soft in the head or what?

I am between a rock and a hard place in my opinions. There is something very wrong with this council it seems over all of it's services. i feel rightly or wrongly a political agenda is in operation which has nothing to do with serving the community. In other words it is rotten from top to bottom. I believe that many of the officers are doing their utmost but are overwhelmed by circumstances beyond their control. That is a political responsibility and is a reflection of the poor quality of candidate offering themselves for election and believing they are there only to serve the party not the community

Yeah, the authorities trot out the usual clichés at this time knowing that the public will buy them.
Listen to this one from the chief veterinary officer about the recent foot and mouth outbreak
"Our objective is to eradicate it and to learn the lessons learned after 2001 "
You can't make this sh*t up.

I live in the London Borough of Haringey. It is atrocious. Nobody cares about anything here. There is no community spirit whatsoever. It's a piece of *waste*. The services in my town are very poor.
