i am hoping someone can tell me why i dream about being married 2 my x husband almost every nite.we have been divorced since 1998.i have no desire 2 b with him.and n the dreams i am not happy about being with him.i wish i could figure out how and why this happens so often

There is more than one possible explanation for this kind of dream, more than one of which could be true at the same time.

For starters as the poster above suggests, this could be your brain remembering your past experiences.

It could also be your brain commenting on your present circumstances using the language of your past.
For instance,
It could be your mind reaffirming that you did the right thing getting out of that relationship, especially if you were having some surface regrets. Kind of like your brain going 'Stop it! We both *really* know that if you HAD stayed with him youwould not be happy, and now I am going to show you that.

If you are getting very serious with someone else, there could be other meanings - either positive or negative.

In addiiton, quite often marriage can stand in for another sort of commitment - so this might be the time to take stock of what you are getting into in your daily life and if oyu are commiting yourself to something that is not totally right for you.

I do the same thing and I feel it has to do with the kids. The only way my kids would see him like that should is for them to live with him. I would say if you are single may just be becasue you would like to have someone around. For me I relize it is becasue I fall asleep some time praying about him and stuff so he is on my mind. I would not make anything realy out of it. You will normaly think and dream about diffreant parts of your life. As long as at the end of the dream I am telling him off and walking away to my husband now all is fine.
