I have recently left my job and they are requiring me to rollover my 401K into another account, does nayone have any recommendations as to a good account type to roll this into with no annual fees? The company that I left have an annual fee on all the options that they presented to me when I left.

Vanguard is a very good brokerage, with very low fees or none depending on your selection and type of account. if you select not to receive any paper statements, they will waive most if not all fees.

Roll your 401K to an IRA there, and your are good

You can "rollover" your 401K to a personal IRA. Right now, there are Equity Index Annuities that are paying up to a 15% Bonus to open the account. Also, NO ANNUAL FEES! Another aspect that you might find interesting...Additional contributions to your account for the next three years will also receive a 15% bonus.

You could try Sharebuilder. They charge $25 a year, but if you put in $1,000 in the "cash" part of the account, they will put it in a money market where the interest will more than pay the fee each year.

Roll it over to an IRA and learn how simple it is to manage it. You must know when to get out, the "buy and hold" method is very risky and no one will call you and tell you when to sell. The correction in 2000-2001 cost many people half their retirement money. Go to : www.justmangeit .com and see how simple it is.

There are some fees on almost any account, but most are minimal. I like Fidelity, but there are many good brokerages offering good options.
