My inlaws are so wrapped up in their baptist religion they cant see their own faults. They are always judging others.
Then they get pissed if you do not see things their way.
They think the world is only the way they see it and everyone should like the same music, cars and anything else they do.
Its driving me crazy. and I do not want my son brainwashed by these idiots.
HELP

Part of being a adult (and I would have to say if they have grandchildren they need to be adults) is to accept the consequences of your actions. You and your partner need to tell them that the consequences of their behavior is that they cannot have any contact with their grandson.

Wow! Your post would be funny if it wasn't serious.

They are narrow minded and can't see their own faults and get pissed if you don't agree with them. They should think exactly as you think, as your way of thinking has no faults and you can do a better job of judging others.

Everyone should just think like you do and the world would be a better place to live.

If you could only brainwash others to think more like you, the world would truly be a better place to live.......

it is very real. For one reason mum and dad do not permit their infants journey classical track at a youthful age. an excellent sort of the those that did pay attention to classical track many some years in the past purely did not bypass it directly to their infants while a clean sort got here approximately. 2nd mainstream society portrays it as boring. Any youngster who hears the words "classical track" immediately thinks "boring". third that's not taught in many schools and the faculties that do coach it, coach it in a manner that portrays it as the different concern: paintings that needs to be finished, not as a pastime. If colleges had a classical track classification the place the track grew to become into to be listened to, enjoyed, stated, and not examined according to risk infants might appreciate it extra. For the main area the only infants fascinated in classical track are those whose mum and dad had them take contraptions at a youthful age. regrettably the track that infants pay attention to now could be rubbish.

You can't shield your son from your in-laws but you can set a better example.

When they say something ignorant, wait until you leave and talk to him about your beliefs on the subject and ask him what he thinks about it.

Time has a way of bringing things to light and kids are SO much smarter than we give them credit for being.

Set a good example for him and he'll follow your lead!

Best of luck to you!

you could put your foot down firm and lay ground rules, but eventually, your only choice is to move far far away and leave no trace of your family for them to find,if its that bad, then and only then is when you will experience true peace.
