No, Africa and its people, have the higuest genetical variation of any other continent. It is is the mother land of us all, after all. Although the Bantu culture is the more prevalent one, you can find very diverse ethnic groups all over the continent. I remember I had a friend from Ethiopia back in college, she had very fine features, really beautiful.
Unfortunately all Africans are thrown into the "black people" basket by most Westerners, but that is not so.

Maybe, if the person was born in the US or in the West Indies or even South America. Everyone thinks that if a black American is light skinned and has fine features it's because an ancestor of theirs was raped by the *massa*. That is partially true, but what many, many people don't know is that millions of Irish were sold into slavery since the 1600's ,because the slave owners wanted White Women to be their sex slaves (they were tired of having only black women and Indian women to exploit ) and also a light skinned fine featured black sold for more money than a darker person. So if you know of a black person who is light skinned and has fine features and also has a way with words and writing, rest assured that they would have Irish cream in their coffee i.e. a black father and a white mother both of whom were slaves. In South America they would be half black and half Spanish or Portuguese. In Africa there are many groups of people who would not be considered *African* because they are light skinned and have fine features even though they are every bit an African as the Black Africans are. I 've seen some whom I thought of as Indians at first. There are black Africans who are fine featured and are stunningly beautiful the Zulus especially come to mind.

Yes, it could but does not have to be the case. There are a number of groups especially in Northern Africa that had fine features in antiquity and continue to to the present era. The Northern Africans were not in the regions from which most slaves were taken for export to the Western nations that were involved in the slave trade, so if you are a Black American with fine features most likely it is the result of a mixed bloodline. Variations can occur spontaneously as well and produce any number results.

everybody has some form of racial mixture. There are no longer any purebloods everywhere. besides the undeniable fact that, you ought to observe that distinctive African tribes have distinctive genes. The Zulus, case in point, look no longer something like the smaller, darker Africans of the Congo. you could spot Zulus and Watusis and a few others because of the fact they are tall and narrow with long legs. There are different tribes the place adult men are short and nonetheless others the place their women everybody is short and rotund. the comparable variations may well be observed between American Indians. 3 tribes are stable examples. The Shoshone have superb-looking adult men with effective effective components and the girls everybody is the comparable. The Arapahoe are short and squat. The Sioux tribes have tall adult men, however the facial effective components are no longer as subtle because of the fact the Shoshone. Intermarriage has lessened this to a level, yet you will %. out the real varieties. between the white peoples, you could actually tell the Scandinavians from the rest. Taller, blonder, and stable looking.

I assume that you're from the U.S. in which case there may well be some mix in your lineage. However, there are several factors at work, dependant on where your ancestors are from in the continent. Interestingly a recent survey in the U.K. found that for most people in England, 20% of thier genetic make up was from the middle east.
Besides, all our ancestors come from Africa.

No. However, in this day and age, the possibility of a mix is highly likely. Also, for whatever reason, mixes often look better and all that then the parents, grandparents, etc.
Nubians and some other look so much better than some of the others...

no. & if that is the case we all should have fine features b/c we all are mixed with something. Of course we all have white races in our family from slavery days. Some genes are just a little more stronger then others.

It is most likely that somewhere down the line someone made a chocolate milk shake.
I wouldn't worry about it though, from what I can tell some of the best looking people come from mixed families.
