A few Libs can get a Republican's account suspended in part because so many Libs have plenty of time to spend on YA.

A person's post should be given credit by YA if it gets a handful of "thumbs up." Those thumbs up should be taken into consideration before accepting a "warning" as anything other than politically motivated.

Why are a few people who get upset because someone points out a weakness in their party allowed to get someone's account suspended?

At times, it seems like the DNC has paid workers sitting on YA just to get rid of Republican YA acounts. I'm sure that's not the case. But, it's a weakness of YA.

YA would be far more credible and balanced if it reworked its rules in a way that would allow more Republicans to not become "top contributors".

Why would anyone respect a site that who's "tops" are so biased to one political side in numbers?

Mcken, freedom of speech is hurt on YA by allowing the great number of Libs who end up getting suspended the accounts of people who simply point out the weaknesses of the Dems.
That implies Dems fight against freedom of speech on YA. Right? Do you support that "feature"

This would be a far more effective and educational tool if neither of the self proclaimed party followers participated. I'm sick to death of childish name calling and stone throwing. Impossible to engage in political debate, which I'm assuming this forum was created to do, when people are only interested in taking shots at the intelligence level of the 'other' party. Is no one interested in making the US a great country again? Or is everyone more interested in the schoolyard squabbling. Sad, really....

Absolutely not.

Freedom of speech. If this is the forum that is dominated by liberals, fine.

Are you fighting for the Fairness Doctrine? Would you force those same liberals to listen to an equal amount of Republican questions and answers?

Would you force the majority of republicans in the mix of radio listeners to listen to an equal amount of democratic party stations and arguments?

No, thank you.

I am a democrat (not a liberal). I believe in free speech.

I encourage you to participate more, not give up. Leaving is the vote of a coward. We need more patriots from both sides of the political aisle.

If you aren't up for that, you may wish to leave. If you are, then a patriot on the Democratic side stands with you (assuming you aren't being seditious and rude to any of our government representatives, such as President Bush, President Clinton, etc.).

Repubs do not spend as much time on the net, if they do they will not be repubs long. Internet surfers are some of the most well informed groups in this brainwashed country. Repubs do not last long here because they are easily upset as their worldviews are ripped apart by the well-informed libs here.... We actually enjoy leaving them so angry they send us hate mail...
I do not see any conspiracy besides the one of the liberal culture dominates the net, with truth. The outside world is dominated by propaganda and confusion from the corps and wealthy elite.
