Having a bad day, Black Coffee? Poor girl. Maybe have nothing better to do right now, huh. You're really immature. I hope you know that. If you don't like the music, don't answer the question. What are you, 10?

2007-08-13 06:33:18 · update #1

Black Coffee must like Fall Out Boy. What do you call good music? I bet it's horrible. Again, you are immature. Grow up, please. This is comming from someone who's probably younger than you.

A lot of good ones already mentioned, but since you like 'Till Tuesday, you might enjoy these two 80's songs:

"Time Stands Still" by Rush - Aimee Mann (the lead singer for 'Till Tuesday) sings backup vocals. Here's a sample:

"No Myth" - Michael Penn. Just a *great* tune, and Michael is Aimee's husband and sometimes co-writer. Here's a sample and the lyrics:

So
She says it's time she goes
But wanted to be sure I know
She hopes we can be friends

I think
"Yeah, I guess we can," say I
But didn't think to ask her why
She blocked her eyes and drew the curtains
With knots I've got yet to untie

What if I was Romeo in black jeans
What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with

See
It was just too soon to tell
In looking for some parallel
Can be an inverse game

We
We said goodbye before hello
My secrets she will never know
And if I dig a hole to China
I'll catch the first junk to Soho

(chorus)

Some time from now you'll bow to pressure
Some things in life you cannot measure by degrees
I'm between the poles and the equator
Don't send no private investigator to find me please
Unless he speaks Chinese
And can dance like a stair over seas
Okay

What if I was?
So what if I was
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with

What if I was Romeo in black jeans
What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth
Maybe she's just looking for
Someone to dance with
