my shoes are like a ruff leather not a smooth leather. how do i clean them?

That kind of shoe is called a buck, I have to wear them for school. Every year we buy these two cleaning products: Penguin (company) suede & nubuck cleaner and Penguin Water & Stain Repellent. What you do is, you can either spray the cleaner on the shoe and use the brush in a circular motion, or you can use a cloth to use the cleaner. NEVER USE WATER TO CLEAN YOUR SHOES. It is best to use a cleaner.

if they are suede use a suede brush or suede eraser. micro-suede very soft baby brush, (this will take a while), if they are just leather generally just some gentle detergent and water, DRY THOROUGHLY so you don't shrink.
