I have a really large mirror that has no border on it. I was wondering if it might be possible to add a wood border to it or some kind of border so I can put it up in my bathroom. It is sucha waste to have it sitting there.
Thanks so much for any help??

you can use it without a frame. some ppl like that look.

or you can measure it and have a frame made.

or you can glue shells, or fake flowers around the edges.

hope this helps. :)

I put molding around mine with rosettes in the corner so I didn't have to mitre them. In another powder room, I upholstered a piece of plywood, cut a diamond out of the middle for the mirror and attached it to the wall surrounding the mirror. You can secure the molding with Locktite for a fast hold or use heavy duty hook and loop tape if you want to be able to remove the frame at some time.

place tape incredible have been the mosaic will end on the reflect. (such as you will paint that section somewhat of putting tile there),yet somewhat of portray take a screwdriver and scratch and score the glass yet no longer previous the tape, for the reason which you do no longer elect the scratched section printed after installation the tile. next purchase some "mastic". Use this somewhat or mortar to place in the tile. whilst completed us an unsanded grout interior the seams. Use unsanded as a results of fact sanded will scratch the glass. All that scratching and scoring you probably did first is to permit the tile to stick to the glass. with out that the tile will fall off. i'm specific this might get it completed for you.

Use a hot glue gun and have fun! You can get as fancy as you want to, just don't get to "heavy" with your border. They make special things for attaching the mirror, or hanging the mirror on your wall.

you can find a glass etching cream at a craft store. then pick out a stencil that you would use for a wall border and just etch it onto the glass

Or, you can get some molding, miter the corners and assemble it like a frame.
