in my opinion these bowls should be forbidden
no fish can live happy in there, neverless a goldfish
not even a betta should be put in there, they require at least a 2.5 gallon tank with filter, heater and a live plant

the only things you can put in there are shrimp or raise triops in there, that's about it

Hope that helps
Good luck

that is to small for any kind of fish. For 30-40 dollars you can get a 10 gallon tank.

none of these yahoos saying 'goldfish' realize goldfish grow to well over a foot long, do they? Goldfish need ponds, not bowls.

Ideally, nobody will force a fish to a life in a gallon bowl. If you feel you must, then a betta, or a couple of guppies is the limit. The idea of small sized shrimp was also a good one.

Jordan D, Are you mentally challenged? and angelfish or a goldfish will NOT fit in a one gallon tank. Some of you people have NO clue. i would suggets either a guppy or two or a couple of elder.

One pair of killifish or a single betta. There aren't a lot of fish that can live in a 1 gallon aquarium.

1g tanks are so small, I wouldn't think any fish would be happy & healthy living on one.

I would never force a fish to live in anything smaller than a 5g tank.
