The dorm I will live in has a bit over 250 square feet of room. I'm wondering if the 32" tv would be too big for it. Thanks!

IDK. But it would be a great temptation for someone to steal. Plus, it would probably get used, abused, and damaged in your dorm room.
Leave the big one at home and buy a little 15-incher for your dorm. It will also be much easier to lug in and out of your dorm room twice a year, too.

depends if its flat or not. If it is, then there will definately be enough room (my roomate had a huge flat screen last year).
if its not, try and get a stand that will hold it and also act as a place for storage, so the tv is taking up space that is also being used. you can try a refrigerator or dressor, etc.
def bring a tv though..it helps a lot.

I got a 32" flat screen TV in my room. You should be fine as long as your not sharing the room with anyone else.
