Rammstein - cool "tanz-metall"
OOMPH! - Neue Deustch Harte (New German Hard) kind of hard rock, with electronic stuff.
Megaherz - like Rammstein
Eisbrecher - electronic, with a heavy beat. awesome band!
KMFDM - industrial. with guitars. really really cool.
Tokio Hotel - Germany's MCR
:wumpscut: - more industrial. no guitars. awesomeness times 10
Kraftwerk - electronic/industrial. gets kinda annoying after a while.
SCORPIONS - 80s metal

enjoy (I hope) and have a great time in Germany!

there's more than rammstein, they're a joke... beatsteaks would be my favourite, robocop kraus, cosmic casino, blackmail, die ärzte, muff potter, kante, tocotronic, die sterne, earthbend, heartbreak motel....depends what kind of rock music you like... by the way, just because you're in germany doesn't mean you have to listen to german music, but most of them sing in english anyway...
