Some will want to celebrate because at least a dozen of his proteges will now be free to do some campaign management of their own.
The democrats couldn't handle Rove by himself, try to imagine the carnage in a now fractured Democratic party with 12 'Roves' on the lose.
Hold on to your hats kids, it's not party time.

I wouldn't celebrate just yet, I would guess this is a RNC planned move. I would suspect the old Karl will end up as the campaign manager (or consultant) for Fred Thompson when he announces. Fred is the only true neocon in the group. And we have seen Karl's fine work, just ask McCain, Gore or Kerry. He will run an effective campaign, he is a very creative campaigner.
So I would hold off the party hats until after the election. Just my thoughts...

because of the fact Karl Rove grew to become into an unelected huge government Czar to the Bush administration. If something he's Dick Cheney's sidekick. His evaluations do not remember because of the fact he needs any such huge government its outstanding.

I don't froth at the mouth like some people so I will just take it in stride that another politician has left the public light. He did what he was hired for and his time is over. And if you think 5 months, 5 years, or 10 years if it will be any different then I am really surprised. Politics is a snake bed and it has all the different stripes living in it. And they all stink.

No party, most people don't know what he does around the White House, I personally don't care about Karl Rove's life in or outside the White House. Newspaper never talk about him anyway, so no i will not party, i will move on, i will not celebrate and i will not weep. People in politics move on, that's what i'm doing as well.

Hooray! I hope Alberto is next!
Rove says he wants to help with the 2008 election. I sure hope not! That would be a kiss of death just like Jorge Bush endorsing a candidate.

Karl Rove is not going anywhere. He will have both feet in politics no matter where he lands. I think he will be involved in this coming election big time.

I would say no because the farther Bush has to dig to find replacements the more this scares me. I can not remember a presidency that had so many resignations and weird proceedings besides Nixons.

Neither. Democrats need to remember how fragile their hold on power is. Nancy Pelosi and other Congressional leaders are certainly aware of this. Celebrating just seems like crass politics to everyone, and like rubbing it in to those who are not Democrats. We will win support by governing and restoring dignity to the political process, not by childish games.
