Where can I purchase these lamp parts if they are needed?

Wire is wire. You would need to change the plug and maybe the socket. I'm guessing you could buy these parts at any hardware store in the U.S.

If it was me I would change out the wire too. They make lamp wiring kits that contain everything you need.

You will have to get a different bulb. Italy uses a 230 volt system a american bulb would burn up instantly.

HI ,I would find out the voltage used there and buy a variable voltage transformer.So you might need a bulb.This way you choose the voltage you want ,set that voltage and plug it in where ever you go.Good Luck.

do not rewire the lamp just buy the conversion plug for it and you will be fine
